About SURUGS
The Story of Rug Making & the Export of Rugs was started in the year 1969 with the name of DAWN CARPET COMPANY by Shamsuddin Ansari together with his father Haji Jan Mohammad Ansari who was a local producer & seller of Rugs.
With a motive of taking business to new heights, S.U. RUGS was established in year 2009 by Shamsuddin Ansari together with his son Mohd Aasif Ansari with a Tagline “HANDS TO FLOOR”.
Over the years we had & have successful business in European Countries & now we are also moving to other parts of the world. With the vast years of experience inherited from elder generations, the legacy now goes to Mohd Akbar Asif who is equipped with all new technologies with a motive of taking business to new heights & destiny.
Products
Our Product line consists of Flat Weave, Hand Knotted, Hand Tufted, Handloom, Jacquard Loom etc. We are mainly producing Flat Woven Durries in Jute, Pet yarn, Cotton, Chenille, Wool etc. We are also making Rugs by mixing up different types of Yarns. We always try to develop & innovate new designs in our Product Range.
We provide product solutions to our customers by having a strong product development & design team with frequent product offerings. We believe in transparency, creativity and healthy communication with our customers for a sustainable growth.
